An Invitation to Dance with Him

Imagine you are in a garden.

The invitation

A moment to let go and dream. A moment to imagine that the king of glory, Jesus, just walked up to you.

You look into His eyes. His peace that is above all understanding washes over you. It’s complete trust.

The dance

He reaches out His hand. He wants to dance with you. It won’t take long. Just a moment in His presence.

Your hand reaches to His. Can you imagine you are dancing. He’s guiding each step. Let your heart be in this space for this moment.

We reflected on this with a church group recently and created flowers for her (our) dress.
She’s the Bride of Christ – His Church – men, women, children – all of us who ask Jesus to be our Savior. He is preparing a Wedding Banquet for us. Revelation 19:7

He is in our hearts now, if we’ve asked Him to be. Ready to take each hand and gently lead. Ready to look into our eyes to give us peace.

I hope you have many dance moments in the arms of Jesus.

Prayer

Jesus, I take your hand. Teach me to dance. Help me to see your face, to see your eyes, not only seeing You, but seeing you in others. Guide me as you glide me in Your loving arms. Step by step – adding in a twirl or two of joy. Lord, thank you that Your are always with me, and I with You.
Amen.

To those who have never asked Jesus for a personal relationship, this is for everyone who asks. John 3:16. He’s ready to draw close to everyone seeking. I know, because I once didn’t have a close relationship with Him. Each relationship can grow, stretch, and deepen with each little step with Him in His arms, in His dance, in His greatest love and peace.

With love and grace,
—Amber
